Here's some of the first produce from our new garden. It's easy to grow anything in California if you can afford the water bill and justify it ecologically. It is really a little bit of a luxury that adds immensely to the quality of our lives. The more exciting part of my new garden is my new birdfeeder which is thriving and so fun! I also set up a hummingbird feeder a couple of days ago and so far two nibbles.

I harvested lettuce my from garden yesterday too..it's been raining here since yesterday so, no photos yet....
