Sarah Palin Astrology Chart

Sarah the Barracuda has a very unusual chart, perhaps indicating the unusual turn of recent events as John McCain chose her sort of "out of nowhere" to be his running mate.

7 planets are clustered on the left facing off against the three outermost planets, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto. Uranus and Pluto are isolated with no contacts to any planets but each other. Read: "she could come out of nowhere". This place in her chart has just been hit by Saturn, bringing it alive. Uranus is her LAP (least aspected planet).

Neptune squares Sun, Mars and Saturn probably indicating secrets and weaknesses yet to be revealed (even to herself). It is further indication in Scorpio that she could be capable of working behind the scenes to get things on people that might be used for coercion. Or it could happen to her, as the suddden announcement that her 17 year old daughter was pregnant.

This is a tough woman. Sun, Mars and Saturn together in Aquarius spell out "indomitable will".

In a way you could say the collective came and got her, the mirror image of Obama who went looking for his image in the collective.

Palin will prove absolutely unpredictable though completely loyal to her principles and ideals of which she has many. Her integrity is without question.

Palin has had lifetimes of positions of power in public places. She thinks and reacts like a man. She may use her public ease as a revolutionary reactionary this time around.

As an astrologer, I would add a little baleful warning to watch out for her family. She is likely to wind up out in the cold.

Really is fitting, isn't it, like the Bridge to Nowhere. All the things she likes to do are things that men like to do - sports, fishing, etc. Don't you think she's "lucky" too?

No I would not say she's lucky except in the sense of lucky fluke (Uranus) and I'll tell you why. Because even this much is going to cost her something very precious as a person and that is because it is actually a bit off her path. She has karma going on here. What seems so lucky now will probably result in a complete self-destruct later on and an abrupt end to her career. Do you doubt? Well, nothing is certain but perhaps some things are written. As an astrologer I can't be more specific about the events that will occur but only that they will.

Here is an example of how Mrs. Palin may be off her Cancer North Node path:

"Sarah Palin knew her daughter was pregnant well before she was asked to join the McCain ticket. She knew that because of her bid to get to the White House, her daughter's most painful private ordeal would inevitably be thrown into the cauldron of the campaign, and that Bristol's life would never be the same. She could have turned down the offer to join McCain's ticket, and saved her daughter and her family from world wide scrutiny and from some quarters, ridicule. But she didn't.

"Why would a mother do that to her child? Was her ambition so great that she was prepared to throw her daughter under the bus of presidential politics? The answer appears to be yes.

"Palin needs to tell Americans why that was an acceptable choice, and more, she needs to tell voters what it says about her moral and ethical compass."

Sometimes things happen in famlies that we do not agree with and in this case teen age pregnancy. It's a tough issue to deal with but one that must be dealt with, with positivity. You must ask yourself, if you were a mother of an pregnant teenager would you rather teach her to hide her, so called "shame",because society will now look down on her? That would make matter's worse. The thing to teach would be to make her daughter strong and to face what cannot be undone. She must now look ahead to her future child who may turn out allright if she has a strong famliy about her.Who cares what other people think. It's done and so as a famliy they must live with it. People make this such a big issue and yet it is something that happens in all cultures. Just because a person in your famliy makes a mistake does not mean everyone else is branded among their relatives. If that was true than we are all guilty of our ancestors faults. Than no one should ever consider being in high office.

You have to look at the big picture - the overriding theme of what Nancy is saying about going against her N. Node in Cancer. She is "meant" - her soul intended for her - to move in the direction of motherhood and support of motherhood, children, nurturing others etc.. Cancerian themes. And you can already see that this is at the forefront of what the media first noticed was good about her. She will be supported when her focus is Cancerian and she will not be supported (by her own life force - eventually leading to failure and personal defeat) if she pursues Capricorn themes and acts out her well honed Saturnine S. Node themes. Her example of putting her daughter behind her own Saturnine aims is in tandem with her using her Downs Syndrome baby as a mascot for her supposed "right to life" beliefs. So she chose to bring a baby into the world - into every day of her life - knowing that the baby is a special needs child - which would be admirable in my opinion if it weren't for the fact that she is running for VP of the US at exactly the same time. Who is going to take care of the extra special needs of this child? She will hire a nanny? Then she is not moving in the direction of her destiny - she is moving backwards. Maybe since her young teenager is pregnant, the job will fall to her to take care of both babies. The sure thing though is she will not have time herself to devote the kind of NURTURING love and attention that this baby SHOULD have for all of his life. Her deeper self (and in my opinion, the soul of this child) most likely set up this situation to attempt to persuade her to move more towards her n. node destiny and not down the old road that she has chosen. Basically, Sarah Palin has chosen her own desires for Cap aims: money, power, public reputation - above those of her children. Very Saturnine - the same way that Saturn devoured his own children.

Thank you for this perfect embellishment. Yes, that is what I was thinking and even more, mentioning that she is "using" her own children hadn't occurred to me.

I work with children with special needs. There is no way Sarah Palin can predict how "special" little Trig is, at this point. I know the enormous sacrifices in time and energy that the parents (and siblings) of my students make to further their loved ones' success. I am sorry that , as was said by others, Mrs. Palin chose to follow her ambition. She is young enough that she could have said "Thanks, but not right now." And it isn't the "exposing her daughter to the shame and ridicule of society" that bothers me. This is a High School Senior about to become a mother...doesn't she need HER mother?? And what about her privacy? I think the appropriate response to this situation is to wish Trig and Bristol well and hope that at some point, Mrs. Palin realizes just where her primary responsibility lies.

this is all very interesting, but what about her husband, perhaps his aspects are more nurturing and less in need of power and prestige. Maybe he is mother and Sarah is father(I do see a tragic outcome though)

I loved your post about Palin and was wondering how you read a chart and reply to it? ()by phone, by mail or what) and what would be your charge. Please let me know.

I do either a phone reading of one hour for $150 or a full 30+ page written report for $325, completely individualized (no computer print outs)... you can see what others have said here: [link below my name]

Thank you! I've read some similar articles but enjoyed yours the most. Some astrologers write way over my head. I still believe sexism is a factor in the backlash.
