AIG

Investment Banking Explained.

Young Chuck moved to Texas and bought a donkey from a farmer for $100.

The farmer agreed to deliver the donkey the next day.

The next day the farmer drove up and said, "Sorry Chuck, but I have some bad news. The donkey died last night.'"

Chuck replied, "Well then, just give me my money back."

The farmer said," 'Can't do that. I went and spent it already."

Chuck said, "OK, then, just bring me the dead donkey."

The farmer asked, "What ya gonna do with a dead donkey?"

Chuck said, "I'm going to raffle him off."

The farmer said, "You can't raffle off a dead donkey!"

Chuck said, "Sure I can. Watch me. I just won't tell anybody he's dead."

A month later, the farmer met up with Chuck and asked, "What happened with that dead donkey?"

Chuck said, "I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at two dollars apiece and made a profit of $898.00."

The farmer said, "Didn't anyone complain?"

Chuck said, "Just the guy who won. So I gave him his two dollars back."

Chuck now works for AIG.

Learn Astrolgy- Venus Retrograde Inferior Conjunction

This is a typical Venus Retrograde Inferior Conjunction Experience

Nancy -

Man, yesterday was a very explosive and emotive day in my world. Discordant anger at the perceived withholding of love-money-appreciation reached a zenith, with very sharp words and devastating emotional consequneces. Talk about power struggles and disappointments, fear of not ever getting what you want, and resentment. It was like being a tornado that doesn't care about the consequences until the damage is done. The same thing that frustrates satisfaction prevents real change. Here's the perfect analogy - people who no longer love one another still can't get a divorce and leave because they can't sell their property and split the proceeds because the economy won't allow them to do so. Stuck together, they feel trapped in a situation that amplifies their emotions but doesn't allow for real permanent change. This can obviously lead to heightened destructiveness - or to the recognition of a shared problem that has to be endured until the conditions are more favorable to a permanent resolution.

Hafiz on Fame

Two Bears

Once
After a hard day's forage

Two bears sat together in silence

On a beautiful vista

Watching the sun go down

And feeling deeply grateful

For life.

Though, after a while

A thought-provoking conversation began

Which turned to the topic of

Fame.

The one bear said,

"Did you hear about Rustam?

He has become famous

And travels from city to city

In a golden cage;

He performs to hundreds of people

Who laugh and applaud

His carnival

Stunts."

The other bear thought for

A few seconds

Then started

Weeping.

Fritzl’s trial and life sentence in Austria for raping his daughter over 3000 times, imprisoning her and her children in a filthy dungeon, letting one of her babies die, AND MORE, that’s enough to enrage the Goddess. Unfortunately a perfect Venus Retrograde event.

The other likelihood with Venus Retrograde is venality the condition or quality of being venal; openness to bribery or corruption; and craven greed which we are certainly seeing in the AIG situation in the news where the very people who caused the financial crisis, derivatives traders, get bonuses totaling $167m.

Louis

Music critic Steve Leggett describes Louis Armstrong as "perhaps the most important American musician of the 20th century." [wiki]

Louis Armstrong shows near perfect use of Aries, Leo and Capricorn. My friend Niko and I have ongoing disussions as to the positive and negatve uses of these signs.

His Moon and Ascendant are in Aries. His Sun is in Leo. He has Jupitet and Saturn in Capriorn.

With his winning, youthful, honest and courageous personality, not to mention his incredible generosity and popularity, Louis Armstrong shows the best qualities of these three signs.

At his first Saturn Return, Armstrong started having trouble with his lips and fingers because of the uniqiue way he played. He was forced to branch out into singing and practically "invented" the art of jazz singing single handedly.

An example of his Leo loyalty is that he was given music lessons by a Jewish family while living in a probationary home as a kid. Ever after that he wore a Star of David to thank them.

Also at his first Saturn Return, when he was 28 he recorded "Ain't Misbehavin' ", his biggest selling record to date.

At the time of his second Saturn Return, [60+], the US State Department sent Louis Armstrong to tour Africa, Europe, and Asia as a Good Will Ambassador. An example of his Aries courage is his "public criticism of President Eisenhower, calling him 'two-faced' and 'gutless' because of his inaction during the conflict over school desegregation in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1957.... As a protest, Armstrong canceled a planned tour of the Soviet Union on behalf of the State Department saying 'The way they're treating my people in the South, the government can go to hell' and that he could not represent his government abroad when it was in conflict with its own people." [astrotheme]

Armstrong was extremely generous, giving way almost as much as he made (Leo Moon) and supported Dr. Martin Luther King and other civil rights workers.

Wth Venus in Virgo he was a laxative enthusiast.

Barely into his second Return, at 63 "Armstrong knocked the Beatles off the top of the Billboard Top 100 chart with 'Hello, Dolly', which made him the oldest artist to have a #1 song" [astrotheme]

Spreading success over a lifetime is a good use of Jupiter and Saturn in Capricorn.

One More Time - Mack the Knife

Love Sathmo but look at the people looking at Satchmo!

Astrology, Queen of Esoteric Arts

"Mr. Friehling’s 80-year-old father-in-law and former partner, Jeremy Horowitz, who had been suffering from cancer, died in Florida 0n the same morning [emp added]Mr. Madoff pleaded guilty in United States District Court in Lower Manhattan." [quoted from NY Times today, William K. Rashbaum]

The back story .. Mr. Hrowitz was Mr. Madoff's accountant for years before retiring and handing it over to his ill-fated son-in-law, Friehling, who was arrested this morning for allegedly participating in the world's largest Ponzio scheme.

All these people were interlocked for years. The Greeks had two meanings for "time". Chronos is the length of time. Kairos is the quality of the time. One wonders. What was the kairos of the day when Horowitz died and Madoff capitulated? Maybe it was even closer in time than a day, maybe the same hour??? Probably some similar aspect in both charts hit by Uranus? Pluto? Saturn???

Other eery examples of the world beyond the veil. Thomas Jefferson and Johnn Adams died on the same day, July 4th. Charles Darwin and Abraham Lincoln were born on the same day. Obama's de facto mother died the week before he was elected.

These kinds of things fascinate astrologers. Astrology is really the study of energy in a mathematical way that can then be interpreted into acts and conditions.

Scarey

What Madoff did to investors seeking pie in the sky and not doing their due diligence is disturbing but what I think we should really stare hard at is that Bernard Madoff served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and was on the Board of Governors of the NASD. Technology that Madoff developed helped form what became NASDAQ.

Unbelievable. Talk about a fox guarding the henhouse.

I was interested to read [wiki] that Bernie Madoff went to high shool in Far Rockaway, New York. My ex husband was a Naval Office stationed in Far Rockaway prior to a tour of duty in Viet Nam. We lived in the very ethic (Jewish and Irish) lower middle class neighborhood. We rented the upstairs of a large Irish family's home to be near the airbase. We spent the first months of our marriage nested up in the attic of Far Rockaways. As a Winetka girl, I was a loooooong way from home.

Bernie Madoff went a long way from home, to, but he got lost.

Our MBTI Expert Dave DeVaughn (INFJ)Talks Career to an INTJ

JMM wrote:

Dear David deVaughn,

I felt like I struck gold when I came across your website while searching for information about careers for INTJ-types! I related to the career dilemmas of the INTJ’s (especially the difficulty making a choice), and I really enjoyed reading your insightful responses to folk’s questions. If you have time, I'd really appreciate your thoughts on my situation.

I’m a 37-year old female civil engineer who is borderline INTJ/INFJ. Through grade school and college, my strength and interest was always math. I started out as a math major, but I ended up getting an undergraduate degree in science, followed by a master’s degree in civil engineering. While I enjoyed the challenge of studying engineering and I like working with engineers, I've never enjoyed the work (despite trying different environments – design, operations, and government). At this point, the ‘physical world’ and building or constructing things bores me to tears; I'd rather live in the world of ideas and systems. Also, I feel that my jobs focus more on communication and team-work than on my strengths (working independently with math/numbers).

At the same time, I feel a very strong urge do something that has meaning and purpose. In fact, I spent a majority of my free time reflecting on questions concerning the ‘meaning of life’, etc. A clergy-type position would probably be a good fit, but I’m too independent-minded to fit into any organized religion. I also have a passion for helping abused and neglected animals (but I don’t want to become a vet or do anything in the medical field).

At this point, I'm thinking about a career change to something that will allow me to use my natural strengths (math, organizing, planning) toward some greater purpose. One option I’m considering is becoming an accountant for a non-profit organization. But I’m concerned that accounting is a much better for an ISTJ, not an INT/FJ. I’m also considering careers in teaching
math or engineering (but I'm concerned it will involve too much extroverting), starting my own e-business, or doing some work in the area of project controls or engineering economics (where I can combine engineering with financial planning – as long as I can find some good end purpose that I am working toward). Or I may just wander off to a cave and meditate for a few
years on the nature of reality…

Anyway, if you have any thoughts on any of the paths that I’ve mentioned above, I’d really enjoy hearing from you.

Thank you so much in advance and best wishes to you,
JMM

Hi JMM,

Wow! I am actually not sure where or how to start since your own path is so similar to mine. I, too, started out in another field (applied microeconomics/finance) and received a masters in civil engineering. I think those of us on the edge of being INFJ/INTJ flock to civil engineering because there are so many people-related applications for this field. It is much less
text-book engineering than electrical engineering, for example. I have had several correspondences with others like us.

Quite a few people like us end up leaving the engineering field. Sometimes we can stay in it for a quite awhile before we get bored or burnt out. In my own case, I survived by finding a position where I was bridging the gap between technical and social applications thru technical writing, teaching and working with non-technical people.

I learned how to communicate technical information in a manner that could be understood by the lay people that were also involved with our programs - legislators, educators, administrative and support people, etc. This experience is actually what got me into the personality testing thing is the first place. Although I was pretty good at designing systems (in my case, advanced technologies/transportation management systems) I was always found more satisfaction in organizing people. Of course, being a technically educated Introverted Intuitive meant that I was somewhat challenged in dealing with the overwhelming Sensing population. I got so involved with Total Quality Management that I actually took all the graduate statistics courses dealing with analysis of variance (new test program at MSU). Still couldn't find the answers that I was looking for until I happened in the MBTI stuff by accident.

This greatly changed my understanding of how the world really works. Eventually I, too, got bored/burnt out working in a government bureaucracy and headed north to become a residential builder. I still have all the technical fun designing and building houses - but I get more people contact. I at least have a purpose (but a very shaky income these days). We are different in that I enjoy teamwork and communication more than working with numbers.

Throughout my time in grad school and even after I started working for the Dept. of Transportation, I taught at least one class every term. I really enjoyed teaching and did not find that it was as draining as most human interactions. I am a true I ntrovert, in that I am very easily drained by social intercourse. Although I am fairly outgoing (like many INFJ's), I need lots
of time alone. I am not sure why, but Introverts do make great teachers. I think the key factor is finding a subject that you care about or students that you care about. Many Introverted teachers will act more as a mentor than a teacher. This can be a very effective way to teach. I would be happy to share my own methods if you would like to hear them.

By the way - Don't believe everything that you read about INTJ's being cold and uncaring. I have not found this to be always true. I have a close friend that is a true INTJ mechanical engineer. He is extremely talented not only in his area, but also has several patents in robotics which is basically an EE field. He spends most of his free time as a preacher (non-denominational, find Jesus stuff). I have an INTJ engineer friend that became a doctor. I know another INTJ that gave up the engineering and became an attorney (lots of attorneys are INTJ). There are lots of ways to help people as an attorney - not all of them are ambulance chasers (only the I/ESTJ ones).

I have only minimal experiences with accounting types, but I do notice a big difference between STJ and NTJ types. STJ types tend to be more driven by need to be part of the system (keeping the books), where as NTJ types tend to more interested in building the business by first establishing a system of controls. STJ's like to keep track of the info. NTJ's like to use the info to
build. I hope I am making that clear. I have actually been doing a lot of this myself lately. I have a small consulting business that helps people with business startups. I started doing this in the construction business and expanded it into the retail business as well (good thing, since the construction business is about dead here Michigan).

I hope this helps. I really enjoyed reading your letter. Please feel free to contact me anytime. If you find a nice cave with low rent that also allows big dogs, please let me know. If it is in a warm climate and close to a golf course, I just might join you.

Peace...
Dave

I have read a lot of articles and researched for about 9 months, since I met this really amazing man through an online dating site. He is an INFJ. I am ISFJ/P. At first we thought were just alike, and since have come to understand that is not correct. We share similar morals, values and beliefs, even have a lot of the same habits, likes and dislikes.

In fact, we agree on most things.... when we talk about them. We have been apart this entire time, with only emails and phone calls once in a great while. Neither of us is too fond of the telephone. We used to chat some, but I think that was too big of a distraction for him. I kept him on the emotional side when he needed to be thinking about his work. At this time, we are each others best friend, I am his only friend and confidant.

I think I am coming to you simply because you are an INFJ and maybe you could give me one or two suggestions on how NOT TO OVERWHELM him once he gets here, or on the other hand, I also do not want him think that I do not appreciate and love him. The fact is, I can write down in email some of the things I have trouble saying out loud. I am an introvert, to help matters along, I am also painfully shy. I am working on that in my old age :)

I guess what I really want to know is . . . . would you understand the silence? I can and will extend my friendly side to him, but I am not sure I can make up for the awkward silences that always seem to follow. Will he understand if I just want to hold his hand and not talk? He is such a gentle soul and I never want to offend or leave him feeling like I don't care.

Maybe I am hoping you can give me insight in more than one way. You are civil engineer, he is a service/and lift engineer. I seem to attract or be attracted to men in that field. Odd.

Thanks for your time.

VM

hIv,

I usually start of all my responses with the disclaimer that I am not a psychologist or a therapist. In this case, I guess I better mention that I am also not a love guru. Relationships are just as difficult for me as they are for any Introvert.

In my opinion, there is something wrong with your situation as you describe it to me. First of all, most INFJ's are very outgoing and enjoy communicating with people. They are the most outgoing of all the Introverts and, in fact, are frequently mistaken for Extroverts. I do not understand your friends desire to minimize communication with you.

No phone calls or chatting tells me that he doesn't want unsolicited contact with you - the question is "why" he needs it to be that way. It certainly isn't because of his MBTI type. In my case, I almost always have FaceBook and Messenger on so that I can receive IM's. I put my personal cell phone number on my business cards so that I can be contacted. I do not hide from the world, I embrace it like so many INFJ's that I know.

It would be odd for an INFJ to place his work ahead of a personal relationship. Your research should have mentioned that INFJ's face the outside world with their Feeling function. Your friend chooses to communicate with you only when it is convenient for him - through emails. That does not make any sense to me, unless he is hiding something. Personally, I rarely email anyone because there is no personal touch to it.

What I am saying here is that his actions are not typical of an INFJ or any other MBTI type. I think that he is using you as some weird sort of sounding board, distraction, or God knows what. The MBTI is not an excuse for deviant behavior. It is merely an explanation of how people think and act when they are emotionally healthy.

The question that I must ask you is whether you have actually spent time with this person face-to-face during these 9 months. If the answer is no, then there is definitely something wrong here, with both of you.

I am not sure if you can really fall in love with a person that you have never met - you can only fall in love with the image that you hold of him in your mind. You have a relationship built solely upon an infrequent email and that is just not healthy.

I am sorry that you are in this situation and that you have let your caring side overwhelm your thinking side. There is nothing that I can do for you - you must do it yourself and you must do it soon. Please don't take anything that I say as the absolute truth. I do have limited information to work with. Talk it over with your friends. Talk it over face-to-face with your internet friend. Force the issue - you can't hold back the truth, you can only delay its arrival.

Good Luck.

Peace...
David

The Diverse Board Meeting by SNL

My Orchids are Blooming

I grew these myself. The blossoms returned after about a year. They are gorgeous and perfect. I have three more pots waiting to bloom.

Laura's Beautiful Quilt Squares

I can't believe how Facebook is exploding. In the past 3 weeks it seemed to reach critical mass. Now "everybody" is joining.

I don't use my legal name for business because it's too hard to spell, pronounce or remember, so no highschool or college friends have found me but an ex roommate, Laura, did. Turns out Laura has taken up quilting which was once a passion of mine. We had a great time catching up and sharing notes.

These are some squares Laura shared.

Aren't they gorgeous?

40 Days and 40 Nights with Venus' Underbelly

Venus, the planet, goes retrograde (backwards) less frequently than Mercury, about every 18 months, and lasts 40 days. Because it is less frequent, it is more difficult to understand and wreaks more havoc than a Mercury retrograde.

Mercury affects communication. Venus affects possessions, relationships, women’s issues and most of all values. Venus asks, “What is it that you really value?” Many astrologers also believe that Venus affects the stock market.

The next Venus retrograde period begins March 6, 2009.

A client wrote me during an earlier Venus Retrograde: “I've been reading your eZines and wondering what the ‘difficult time’ we are all having is. Then, I experienced it with a deep, fast plunge to the bottom complete with a few extra bumps to round out the full force of impact. Whew! I haven't been down here in awhile. ”

A student in my ongoing Tuesday night astrology class wanted to know, “How can a dinky little inner planet like Venus cause so much trouble?”

Well, these are very good questions. The answer is partly imbedded in the relationship of the planet Venus to the esoteric properties of the Number 5. Let’s take a closer look at this planet, Venus and the Number 5!

The physical planet of Venus (in the sky tonight) is a strange amalgam. Named after the Roman Goddess of Love, nonetheless, she is surrounded by such a noxious yellow atmosphere that life is impossible (permanent greenhouse effect). It doesn’t surprise us, then, to know that the Roman goddess herself had several epithets. One of them was “Venus of the Sewers”. Venus also rules venereal disease.

The ancient Aztecs had a Venutian goddess who walked the earth as a man for the 40 days of the retrograde cycle. The warlike Aztecs declared war when Venus went retrograde.

These are some of our clues as to what lies beneath the surface of a Venus retrograde transit and why it can be so disruptive on a very personal level.

In transit, Venus goes retrograde five times over a period of eight years, coming back to the same sign in which she started at the end of five 584-day cycles (or eight years). This is Venus’ cycle to herself. She is working her way in stations back through the zodiac, 2 to 3 degrees earlier in each sign, each time. The stations of Venus form a quintile (five-ish) pattern against the backdrop of the zodiac. A diagram of Venus stations across a horoscope actually makes an image like a pentagram. The quintile aspect reminds us of the other quin in astrology -- the quincunx aspect (signs that are 5 houses before and after one another). As every astrologer worth her salt knows, the quincunx is the most difficult aspect of all to reconcile within an individual’s chart (psyche). It is also very difficult to “read” in a chart other than saying there are “irreconcilable differences”. There are certainly good ways for the professional to interpret this aspect but that isn't within the scope of this article.

For a good grip on the qualities of the Number 5, take a look at the “fives” in the Tarot deck. They have been called the Bardo states.

The Fives are ruled by the Major Arcana V, The Hierophant, the Teacher of Hard Life Lessons. One of the meanings expressed by the Hierophant is that apparently there are some things in life that can only be learned in the School of Hard Knocks. People with a #5 Birth Force learn through doing not by reading books or listening to lectures.

Five is also known mystically as the "Number of Man". It represents the ability of man to understand things of an esoteric nature and is most familiarly represented in the drawing of Leonard DaVinci showing a male figure with arms and legs spread against a circular background. I remember seeing a very dramatic presentation of Marlowe’s Faust in San Diego where this figure was cast in stagelights across the floor of the Dr. Faust’s study as the curtain opened and Our Hero”Everyman/Faust began his mythical struggle with his own nature.

There is a good book written for professional astrologers about retrograde cycles, including Venus Retrograde, called “Retrograde Planets” by Erin Sullivan, published by Penguin Books in 1992 which explains the basic characteristics of Venus as she “turns her back” on us. The effects of this transit are among the most difficult to predict (and describe) perhaps because it is one of the very most unique and personal to each individual. This makes generalities very difficult.

Here are some examples of things that have happened to real clients of mine during Venus retrograde transits in the past.

Retrograde Venus through the 1st house:

•widow moves out of 5,000 sq ft home to downsized residence and begins to realize that house and relationship were prisons and that she is well rid of both;

•elderly woman resolves long standing issue with IRS who removes lien on her house and frees up her CD.

Retrograde Venus through the 2nd house:

•husband gets self and wife new cell phone numbers after five years with the old ones (?)

Retrograde Venus through the 3rd house:

•walls close in on man as he realizes he might lose his wife, mistress and home, all in the same month!

Retrograde Venus through the 4th house:

•Consultant breaks up with woman 15 years older, moves to another city to start over with a woman 15 years younger;

•heiress’ brother announces divorce, completely upsetting family power structure;

•married boyfriend goes back to his wife with no explanation;

•woman vacillates between declaring BK, selling house and selling heirloom family jewelry

Retrograde Venus through the 5th house:

•middle aged woman comes to terms with death of mother and estrangement from brother, releasing her own intense creativity

Retrograde Venus through the 6th house:

•obsessive love for a younger man triggers long repressed memories of tragic first love in manicurist;

•boyfriend who is in the Diplomatic Corps leaves for South America for a year, triggering deep depression and abandonment issues in young girlfriend

Retrograde Venus through the 7th house:

•PhD candidate stops studies when his girlfriend is almost killed by a hit-and-run driver and hover for weeks between life and death

Retrograde Venus through the 8th house:

•husband of college professor suddenly offered opportunity for work as interpreter with a government “provider” believed to be involved in undercover work in a foreign country if he will leave with two days’ notice and without knowledge of exactly where he is going

Retrograde Venus through the 9th house:

•young housewife with 2 year old baby joins metaphysics class and finds terrific outlet for her social nature and brilliant mind

Retrograde Venus through the 10th house:

•young man has Tarot card reading, discovers reasons behind many of the mysteries from his painful past

Retrograde Venus through the 11th house

•gifted intuitive artist attends Jonathan Edwards demonstration and has experience afterwards that convinces her she is going completely mad

Retrograde Venus through the 12th house:

•elderly woman seriously considers selling her home (which is free and clear) to get really free and clear!

As you can see, many of these events have to do with the areas of life which are ruled by Venus, possessions and desires.

Another mystical thing about Venus Retrograde is that the cycle lasts for 40 days. It is as if we all wander in the wilderness with our Christlike selves, and return with greater conviction about who we are and greater dedication to our selves and our purpose, some through the act of denying temptation.

During this cycle, the creative and the destructive are so closely interacting with one another it may be hard to tell the difference as ridiculous as this sounds. Feedback from trusted friends or a professional astrologer can help if you think you might be throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

During a retrograde cycle, you may have no idea which end is up. But by the end of the cycle, a New Order is revealed, and order forms out of chaos. Venus retrogrades are intensely introspective and even anti-social transits that bring forth great bursts of personal creativity when complete. This is the kind of creativity which produces an art, the palette of which is life itself.

Pluto's Transit from Sagittarius to Capricorn

Dow Jones lowest since 1997. There's that date again. Pluto's whole visit to Sagittarius that began in 1995-97 might now be seen ad a big fat inflationary bubble. In the cycle of things energy wise, Sag expands and Capricorn follows with prudent contraction.

Important Tax Information

Going around the internet ...

Your income taxes are normally due on April 15, unless that date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, in which case they're due Monday the 16th or 17th.

However, I have been told that a recent change, and for the next 8 years, taxes will not be due until you are nominated to a cabinet position.

Please check with your Tax Adviser to confirm.

Venutian TImems x 2 = Lover Coome Back

LOVER COME BACK!!

I’d expect someone from the past to come back in the picture. Nothing is permanent during a retrograde, either a commencement or separation, but you can get a lot of information about yourself and the way you relate to people. By allowing yourself to begin or cut offf a relationship you may get a lot of clarity about your needs. I have seen couples of very long standing hit the skids (to reconcile later) The advice is, “Wait til April 17 and see if you still feel the same way” It is usually a very intense time in relationships.

Put a star by ****March 27**** on your calendar as the epicentter of the goddess’ rage. For example there will be a spike in domemstic violence and guaranteed some crime against women will hit the national headlines. If you normally have trouble with women or one woman in particular such as mother, daughter or sister, for example long, ongoing unresolved issues, get yourshield up or duck off the radar screen so as to avoid unpleasantness unless you like that sort of thing and really want to have it out. I prefer to step aside and allow them to do it to themselves.

Others from the past look us up just to bring perspective. I think the recent surge on facebook is in anticipation of this tranisit.

Good Stuff about Dating

Venus Goes Retrograde March 6 - April 17, 2009

Ladies and Gentlemen. Grab hold of your SO (Significant Other) and your pocketbook!

Let’s get up to speed for Venus Retrograde March 6 – April 17.
There’s a lot more to this retrograde than the advice commonly heard – “don’t make a major purchase or important relationship decision during this time period”. There’s soooooo much more. I will send emails each day until the 6th with free general advice and inspiration.

Let’s get started. The following is taken from Erin Sullivan, author of Retrograde Planets:

· The degree of discord that arises within one's personal life during the retrogression signals the distance that one is from one's core values and higher creative inspirations.
· The sudden imbalance can tilt one towards an opposing pole, creating tremendous upheavals in relationships and in one's personal experiences.
· The mysterious 'ideal' can interrupt and tear apart what one has found to be loving and nurturing -- flaws and faults in others can become enhanced, and one might see all the dangers of intimacy rather than the supportive aspects of it.
· The call to war after the inferior conjunction of Venus with the Sun might bring forth the dead and one may be recalled to times in the past when rejection and emotional pain conspired to erect an emotional fortress which for current circumstances might be quite inappropriate

Tomorrow, “Come back! Come back! Lover, come back” Prepare to have many visitors from the past.
