According to an article in today's NY Times, India has bought several British companies lately. India has just finished its Saturn Return. Yes, countries have them too.
India's ONGC is buying Imperial Energy of Britain. India's Infosys Technologies [outsourcing and info tech] took over the British Consulting firm, the Axon Group. And Tata Motors of India bought Britain's Land Rover and Jaguar brands.
Pakistan has also just completed its Saturn Return and is falling apart.
