The Hood

This is a "real" neighborhod restaurant, one of a kind and unique in San Diego. Everyone seems to have heard of it.

The theme is "brothers" so it has photos inside of the Blues Brothers, Jack and Bobbie Kennedy, etc ....

Since it's been around so long many of the clientele are 70, 80.

The food is pretty mediocre but I sometimes grab breakfast there.

Since it is always so sunny (hot and sweaty) in San Diego, I welcome the few patches of shade such as this on my daily walk. This is also on the downhill home stretch.
