Electrifying Governor Palin

Mr Halcro (who debated Sarah Palin during her gubernatorial race) said Mrs Palin's biggest strength is her ability to "fill the room with her presence".

Where do we find that in her chart? Probably those five planets in Aquarius. She has electrifying energy that lights up a whole house not just a room. Her South Node in the 5th makes her comfortable "on stage".

That's where all the sex appeal comes from, too. Uranus rules pure sexual energy (i.e.., when there is not necessarily any emotion or bonding involved.)

Alaska ... where the weather is cold and the governor is hot.

Thus much Uranian energy can also point to meteoric rise.

Opinion about the Palin Biden Debate

I'm a clairvoyant astrologer. I use psychic gifts as well as astrology and the cards.

I was asked for an astrologer's comment on the Palin Biden Debate.

What's most important going on right now astrologically is not Mercury Retrograde (though it matters), nor Pluto entering Capricorn November 28 (very important), but the Saturn-Uranus opposition.

Political debates have long been ritualized, to the point of rigidity. Typically, this one will follow the formal (read: formalized) debate format of 90-second answer and 2-minute follow-ups. Even within that, there are certain unwritten rules that every seasoned professional politician knows. (Saturn)

But guess what? Palin won't be playing by those rules. She doesn't even know them. That's why her interviews sound so odd. Even her voice, her accent. We haven't heard or seen anyone like this in a LONG TIME. She creates the game and the rules, and wins. She doesn't fit in any slot we're familiar with. (Uranus) How is Senator Biden going to deal with that?

Biden has been coached, it appears, about not talking down to her in the debates or pontificating on like senators, judges and other "Saturn" types are prone to do. (I think of the lawyer who told me, when I was trying to figure out a brief I was reading, "The point of legal commuication is not to communicate.")Palin, on the other hand, was quoted in "Debate Offers Palin, Biden high risks, Big rewards," as saying, "[Biden]'s got a tremendous amount of experience and, you know, I'm the new energy, the new face, the new ideas and he's got the experience ...Could this BE more Saturn-Uranus?

And you bet it's a choice as the two face off -- Saturn (experience, tradition) and Uranus (newness, change) I mean.

So here we'll have Biden expecting that "three strikes and you're out," but Palin will still be standing at the plate for the next pitch. He'll catch her fly ball and consider her out, but she'll keep running the bases. Well even more than this, he'll be thinking they're playing football, while she's playing some version of chess she made up.

How can you win when you think you're playing a game, with certain rules, when you are not. With Biden confused by all this (watch his nonverbals), Palin will have the upperhand. She may lose the "battles," but she's going to win the war.

The New York Times said Biden might have trouble with his spontaneity. I think it's Palin's spontaneity he will be having trouble with.

Maybe we're tired of politicians who make sense, because they so rarely do anyway.

There's something refreshing about Palin. And in the last analysis, it isn't her ability to "engage with Sen. Biden" that matters. It's a much bigger game than that, folks. It will be the feel of the debate not the actual words.

Babe Ruth couldn't explain how he was able to hit so many home runs. But hit them he did.

Sarah Palin's Birth Chart Rectified

Best guess going around the internet gives Sarah Palin Leo Rising.

If this does turn out to be the true chart, this lady is the Queen of Ethics. Look at that 9th house.

She could, however, have some "power issues" as Neptune in Scorpio, which squares important personal planets and Saturn, sits at the bottom of the chart. As I've said before, this portends a great many secrets, even from herself. She may be scheduled for some major reality checks in the years ahead. The combination of Saturn and Neptune is fraught with delusions and self deception.

The least aspected planet Uranus (LAP) can be found in the first house. As Saturn hits it the lady leaps onto the national scene with all the excitement and aliveness we'd expect from Uranus.

Two years ago when Saturn crosssed her Ascendant she became govenor of Alaska. This might be a very good guess at the birth time. This type of astrology is called rectification and is a specialty.

Sarah Palin Astrology Chart

Sarah the Barracuda has a very unusual chart, perhaps indicating the unusual turn of recent events as John McCain chose her sort of "out of nowhere" to be his running mate.

7 planets are clustered on the left facing off against the three outermost planets, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto. Uranus and Pluto are isolated with no contacts to any planets but each other. Read: "she could come out of nowhere". This place in her chart has just been hit by Saturn, bringing it alive. Uranus is her LAP (least aspected planet).

Neptune squares Sun, Mars and Saturn probably indicating secrets and weaknesses yet to be revealed (even to herself). It is further indication in Scorpio that she could be capable of working behind the scenes to get things on people that might be used for coercion. Or it could happen to her, as the suddden announcement that her 17 year old daughter was pregnant.

This is a tough woman. Sun, Mars and Saturn together in Aquarius spell out "indomitable will".

In a way you could say the collective came and got her, the mirror image of Obama who went looking for his image in the collective.

Palin will prove absolutely unpredictable though completely loyal to her principles and ideals of which she has many. Her integrity is without question.

Palin has had lifetimes of positions of power in public places. She thinks and reacts like a man. She may use her public ease as a revolutionary reactionary this time around.

As an astrologer, I would add a little baleful warning to watch out for her family. She is likely to wind up out in the cold.

Really is fitting, isn't it, like the Bridge to Nowhere. All the things she likes to do are things that men like to do - sports, fishing, etc. Don't you think she's "lucky" too?

No I would not say she's lucky except in the sense of lucky fluke (Uranus) and I'll tell you why. Because even this much is going to cost her something very precious as a person and that is because it is actually a bit off her path. She has karma going on here. What seems so lucky now will probably result in a complete self-destruct later on and an abrupt end to her career. Do you doubt? Well, nothing is certain but perhaps some things are written. As an astrologer I can't be more specific about the events that will occur but only that they will.

Here is an example of how Mrs. Palin may be off her Cancer North Node path:

"Sarah Palin knew her daughter was pregnant well before she was asked to join the McCain ticket. She knew that because of her bid to get to the White House, her daughter's most painful private ordeal would inevitably be thrown into the cauldron of the campaign, and that Bristol's life would never be the same. She could have turned down the offer to join McCain's ticket, and saved her daughter and her family from world wide scrutiny and from some quarters, ridicule. But she didn't.

"Why would a mother do that to her child? Was her ambition so great that she was prepared to throw her daughter under the bus of presidential politics? The answer appears to be yes.

"Palin needs to tell Americans why that was an acceptable choice, and more, she needs to tell voters what it says about her moral and ethical compass."
